Time delta against a reference lap
Under the line is quicker, over it is slower, so a lap is read at a glance instead of by squinting at split times.

See where the lap actually went
Traces reads the telemetry Gran Turismo 7 broadcasts on your network and turns it into the picture a driver needs: the delta against your reference lap, where you braked, where you coasted, and what that cost.
What it does
Under the line is quicker, over it is slower, so a lap is read at a glance instead of by squinting at split times.
Your line with throttle, braking and coasting coloured along it, next to the reference lap's.
Each against distance, so two laps line up at the same corner rather than the same moment.
What a fuel setting does to your pace and range, for the stint you are actually driving.
Braking, throttle and steering drills with a target trace and a score, for the inputs that are hard to feel.
Recorded laps kept with the car, track and conditions, so a good lap can be found again.
A look at it
Getting started
GT7 broadcasts it on your network already; Traces listens for it.
It finds the console by itself and starts reading.
Every lap is drawn as you finish it, against whichever lap you set as the reference.
